Chickens taking over the lavatory

A while ago i set up my own cartoonsite, cartoons.liessa.net. The initial basis for this initiative was taking my WordPress plugin USCD for a test ride. Because of my plugin i’ve added every cartoon with a picture-rssfeed available, since there’s really no downside in having some cartoons that you don’t like. A cool byproduct of this is that i’ve discovered quite some good cartoons that i’d have never found out about otherwise

Last friday mactijn and i conceived the idea to print one of those cartoons, “Savage Chickens” which consists of one post-it per episode, back onto post-its. The result is rather cool if i may say so, and i’ve stuck quite a few of them to the the tiles in my house’s toilet, to provide some fun reading material for those who don’t spend whole book-chapters worth of time in the smallest room

PS: the method used was:

1. crop until your picture is only the post-it bit of the comic
2. remove yellow and increase contrast
3. scale the images to post-it size (3 inch square in our case)
4. print a page filled with these images
5. stick post-its carefully over the printed images
6. re-print on the post-it covered sheet
7. enjoy!
