Image recovery

Today I had some bad luck handling usually rather innocent equipment: an SDcard, a reader and my laptop. Somewhere along the way things went very wrong, because instead of importing my pictures my iPhoto crashed, and the data turned out to be corrupted (the camera couldn’t read most photos anymore, and my laptop gave I/O errors while trying to read the card). Rather sucky, because ofcourse I hadn’t imported my pics for months and now all seemed lost.

Luckily we have been able to recover some of the corrupted pictures, albeit some with more erm, creative colours….

Extra interesting: the blue one was pink in its original format, after downsizing it turned blue O_o
