My first goals have been accomplished! These goals were set on 18 sept 2007. They turned out to be a bit conservative, because I simply planned to 'stick to my Start to Run schedule', meaning run 3 times a week. In practice I seem to like going more often though, so I finished both the 12-times goal and the 35km goal on 4 okt with 12 days to spare :)
My new goals started on 5 okt, and I have copleted the first one on 14 okt already: 5 runs under the average pace of 7'40" in a month. Aparently I'm getting faster (altough a bit of that can be attributed to less walking and more running) The second one of those goals set on 5 okt was completed on the 20th: 50 km \o/.
The last goal set on that date involves number of runs, I now aim for keeping up with '4 times a week'. So far so good, I'm ahead of schedule :)
I had set a new speed-improving goal on 14 okt: 5 times under 7'30" per km. This has already been completed on 20 okt, so I'll reset a speed-goal with a few more runs this time. 15 runs under 7'10".
Also set on 20 okt is a new distance-goal: 100 km within a month. I'm off to a bad start already because I set this goal after my running for the 20th and I'm considering taking the 21st off, but that makes it more of a challenge :)
